Does the cover rattle ?

No the cover does not rattle. The cover runs on glass filled nylon (a hard plastic material) and at no time does aluminium touch aluminium. The cover rolls up into a convolute (snail shell, shape) made of HDPE.
Will my gear get wet in the tray ?

NO. Moisture is often due to water coming in via the tail gate, like all utility vehicles. If the top of the cover is wet and the cover is opened the top droplets may drip onto the underside and therefore when closed again there will be moisture on the underside of the cover.

How is the cover water resistant ?
By definition no the cover is not water proof, this is based on the fact if the car where submersed under water the tray would stay dry. As demonstrated above water drains out of the canister where the cover rolls up. Drainage is via tubes
Can I have the remote upgrade later on ?

Yes you can have the remote control upgrade later on. You receive two key ring remotes with the upgrade.

How long does it take if I order a cover today ?

The time frame depends on the options you choose. 3 to 4 days for a standard cover, 5 to 6 days for a colour coded cover. The painting process includes all 75 individual pieces painted separately so a perfect finish is achieved.

How much time does it take to open and close ?

7 seconds to open and 8 seconds to close. If your cover is not running at this speed you might need to check our recommend maintance advice.

What colour black is standard ?

The standard black is a powder coat black. It is not as glossy as a painted finish, but its stronger and great for trades people who will bump and knock the cover.
Does the cover fit with my bars, and my tray liner ?
Bar modification instructions Yes a Quig Rolling Door fits with all sports bars, ladder racks, tray liners and rhino liners. The bars or ladder racks may have to be modified to fit with the cover. Quig, supplies numerous bars & rack systems.
